For the Rolex Farr 40 Pre-Worlds 2008, Farr 40 One Design Rule 25.1 “Number of Sails Aboard” will be modified in the following ways:

1. Boats will not be required to submit sail inventory declarations.

2. All sails used in the Pre-Worlds shall have a numbered Class button per Class rule 25.6.  Different sails may be carried aboard for each day of racing.

3. In addition to the inventory outlined in rule 25.1, each boat may carry one extra mainsail, one extra jib, and one extra masthead spinnaker.

4. Class Rule 37.1 “Outside Assistance” is in effect.  It is permitted to change mainsails while on the water provided all sails remain on board.
