Three points behind lie fellow Italians Joe Fly and in third place Barking Mad (USA). It was Opus One (GER) with Wolfgang Stolz at the helm that won the first race of the day - race 4 of the 10 race championship. Barking Mad and Ramrod (USA) came second and third respectively. Race 5 saw the wind picking up to 10 knots and a dual between Nerone (ITA) and Silver Bullet (DEN) to the finish line. Mean Machine (MON) meant business in Race 6 - the last of the day - leading the fleet round the course from the start to finish.
